Sound Therapy
My Work at The Origami House
I’m Kara Markovich, the co-founder and sound practitioner at The Origami House. My work is rooted in helping people slow down, reconnect, and experience the restorative intelligence of sound.

I weave together tuning forks, gongs, Tibetan singing bowls, chimes, the Rav Vast drum, and intentional listening practices to create sound experiences that invite the body into rest and the mind into spaciousness. Every session is held with presence, gentleness, and deep respect for the human experience.

Ways We Can Work Together
• Private Sound Therapy Sessions
One-on-one sessions designed to support your nervous system, soothe tension, and create space for inner quiet.

• Private Group Sound Immersions
Custom sessions for friends, families, teams, or special occasions. These gatherings offer a shared experience of rest, connection, and grounding.

• Workplace Wellness Sessions
Bringing sound into the workplace—either on-site or at The Origami House—to help teams reduce stress, soften burnout, and reconnect to clarity, creativity, and presence.

• Community Sound Events
Seasonal or monthly gatherings inside the sanctuary space, inviting the community to experience the collective power of sound. These occur in both the Origami House and spaces throughout Michigan.

No matter the setting, my intention is always the same:
to create a space where sound becomes a bridge—back to yourself, back to presence, back to what matters.
